We're hiring a Head of Payments to own our entire payments operation in-house — MIDs, approval rates, chargebacks, processor relationships, and payment infrastructure — across a 10-company, ~$8M/month (scaling to ~$20M/month) direct-response e-commerce portfolio. We need an operator who fixes things independently, not a consultant who flags problems for someone else to solve. That distinction is the whole job.

What we're looking for.
Operator, not advisor
Has personally RUN a payments function and fixed problems end-to-en
High-risk / subscription payments
Supplements, skincare, free-trial/rebill models, high-chargeback environments
MID scaling at multi-entity scale
Has actually grown an account base from dozens to hundreds.
Approval-rate craft
Can name the specific levers and quote real before/after numbers.
Payment-architecture literacy
Understands orchestration platforms, network tokens, routing, and delayed capture.
Strong English.
CEO-facing daily.

Don't apply if:
- You have only worked in banking or traditional fintech and have never owned the merchant side of payments.
- You've only been a consultant or advisor rather than personally running a payments operation.
- You don't have experience with subscription or recurring-payment businesses.
- You've only worked with one brand and have never managed payments across multiple brands or legal entities.
- You can't describe specific improvements you've made to approval rates, chargebacks, or payment performance.
